Wes Hays
Our Founder
Wes Hays is a distinguished leader with expertise in manufactured housing, luxury apartments, affordable housing, and mixed-use properties. He has managed and acquired assets worth over $1.5 billion. Since 2024, Wes has served as president of Uncommon Communities. Previously, Wes founded and led Diamond H Capital, a mobile home community investment firm in Kansas City. He also served as CEO and COO for the nation’s fifth largest manufactured housing operator, overseeing 23,000+ lots and 253 communities across 29 states. Under his leadership, it was recognized by the INC 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list.
Wes’s experience includes managing affordable housing, including LIHTC and Section 8 properties in the Midwest, and overseeing portfolios of 2 major manufactured housing operators and luxury apartment groups. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with an Entrepreneurship focus from Missouri State University.
